Product Information
Purchase Restylane Volyme from Medical Device Source to correct volume loss from aging. Restylane Volyme is a medical device made of a non-animal hyaluronic acid gel mixed with Lidocaine. Bacterial fermentation produces the hyaluronic acid, then it is cross-linked using Butanediol Diglycidyl Ether (BDDE). The Restylane Volyme gel is then purified using dialysis, removing any leftover BDDE to make a more pure product. The different Emervel products are made using Optimal Balance Techology to adjust the cross-linking levels and particle sizes for each product. Many dermal fillers use non-cross-linked hyaulronic acid to adjust their concentration, making different products with different filling abilities. The problem with this method is that the non-cross-linked, or free, hyaluronic acid tends to attract moisture and cause temporary swelling. Emervel is different in that it uses different cross-linking levels and different particle sizes to create different products with different filling abilities. Once the hyaluronic acid particles pass through a mesh, they are divided up into four different sizes to make four different Emervel products. Restylane Volyme uses the largest particle sizes to give its gel the greatest volume filling ability. This makes Restylane Volyme suitable for correcting lost facial volume that is caused by aging. As someone ages, their face tends to lose fat, which reduces their facial volume. This can cause features like hollow cheeks. Restylane Volyme can be injected into the cheeks to restore volume, giving the surface skin a smooth appearance and giving the face a full, youthful look. Restylane Volyme can also be used to recontour facial features like the cheeks, cheekbones, and chin, or even the whole facial oval, enhancing or reshaping areas of the face for a different look. Normally hyaluronic acid will break down quickly within the body, but the hyaluronic acid in Restylane Volyme is cross-linked to last longer. The results of a Restylane Volyme treatment usually last around six to nine months, but clinical trials saw results after twelve months.
All medical devices made with hyaluronic acid, including Restylane Volyme, can cause side effects. These include mild pain, tenderness, skin redness, itching, and swelling at the injection site, usually disappearing within a few days after treatment. Because Restylane Volyme does contain Lidocaine, an anesthetic, the pain of the injection is reduced. As well, without non-cross-linked hyaluronic acid, Restylane Volyme is less likely to cause excessive swelling after the injection. Restylane Volyme is not recommended for women who are either pregnant or breastfeeding because the effects of the dermal filler on a child are not known. Restylane Volyme should not be injected into an area containing another filler, especially a permanent filler. Injections of Restylane Volyme are contraindicated in patients with a known allergy or sensitivity to hyaluronic acid, Lidocaine, or amide anesthetics, patients with severe allergies, patients with an autoimmune disorder, or patients that have porphyria.
When aging faces lose volume, Restylane Volyme can restore volume to the cheeks or other areas, as well as reshape the face for a new look. Purchase Restylane Volyme from Medical Device Source to restore lost facial volume or recontour facial features.
