A standing order is a order that is placed with Medical Device Source in which a set amount of product is shipped to the customer automatically at predetermined time intervals. For example, a standing order of 10 Synvisc monthly. In this example, we would ship 10 Synvisc to the purchasing clinic on the 1st of every month (or whatever day of the month is set up in the standing order).

A standing order allows Medical Device Source to pre-order given amounts of product from our licensed, international wholesalers thereby ensuring that we maintain adequate supply for our loyal customers. This means that any clinics with standing orders will be given highest priority in receiving stock from Medical Device Source. In essence, those clinics with standing orders will not be surprised by stock shortages anymore.
If we happen to be unable to supply product to a clinic with a standing order they will be given priority notification and will also be given top priority when stock does become available.
A standing order also means that you will not need to worry about tracking your stock and placing orders every month. The stock you need and request will be delivered to you automatically.
